Meet the team of trading professionals at NCE
Chief Executive Officer
Kenneth is a George Washington University graduate with a BA in Accounting. Ken also has an MBA from St. Johns University. Kenneth is the son of Richard Paer, the founder of NCE in 1980. Married with two children; on weekends you can find Ken on the court either practicing his jump shot or working on his serve.
President
Joyce, President of NCE, has an NYU degree in Music Therapy, as well as a Masters from Hofstra University in Special Education. An avid piano player, she has been married since 1974 and has two children. Joyce supervises the trade floor and is responsible for overseeing day to day operations. Joyce began with NCE in 1981.
Vice-President & Credit Manager
Lauren, Vice President & Credit Manager, has a SUNY New Paltz BA and has completed graduate work as well. Lauren speaks four languages and serves as our in house translator. She has lived in Israel for one year and relaxes knitting someone a sweater as she listens to classical music. Lauren started with NCE in 1982.
Vice-President
Marge, Vice President, has a BA from Hofstra University with graduate study at Dowling College. She was an elementary school teacher and former Girl Scout leader. She is married with two daughters. Marge is passionate about rescuing feral cats (not as dangerous at it sounds) and is an active fundraiser for cancer charities. Marge started with NCE in 1991 and is now the lead salesperson.
Sales & Marketing Associate
Jeneen is a Sales & Marketing Associate who attended the Katherine Gibbs Business School. A lover of the Arts, she will be engrossed in reading the hot new book when she is not assisting on an animal rescue or helping to raise funds for cancer research. Jeneen began with NCE in 2010.
Trade Broker
Angela has been with NCE since 2009 and is an avid kickboxer. She can cook up a storm and bake things that smell out of this world (trust us, we know!). On top of her brokering duties at NCE she also manages theater and event tickets. Prior to joining NCE, Angela worked as a licensed childcare worker.
Media Director
Susan is our Media Director and is part of a medical family. Upon graduating SUNY Buffalo with a double major she became a media buyer for a large Boston ad agency. Her husband is a well respected dentist, her oldest daughter will put you to sleep – she’s an anesthesiologist at Cornell Weil – and her baby is a physical therapist at Northwell Health. Susan began with NCE in 2000.
Ed is a member of NCE since the late 1990s. He sold home furnishings and small gifts. He loves barter so much that he now works for NCE promoting the concept to other business owners. The only thing he loves more than NCE (his wife excluded) is playing the guitar in venues throughout Long Island and NYC.
Tracey is a Trade Broker and NCE’s In-house Counsel. Prior to joining NCE Tracey practiced real estate law with a degree from St. John’s Law School. Tracey has 2 children and enjoys traveling. Tracy started with NCE in 2010.
Head of Apparel Division
Sandy directs the NCE apparel division. As an Optometrist, he owned a successful eyeglass store, Zale Opticians, and was a longtime NCE member. Upon selling his business in 1998, Sandy joined the NCE team and has been here ever since.
